The Full Story:
The California Youth STEM Project (CYSP) was founded by a group of passionate youth who witnessed the lack of resources and opportunities in underserved communities.
Our mission is to serve the youth in these communities and empower them to achieve success through STEM education. Join us in making STEM accessible for all!

Youth STEM Chronicles (YSC)
A youth STEM magazine showcasing the voices and stories of youth involved in STEM. Youth ages 8-18 can submit to YSC for free and gain valuable insight.
Collaborative Learning & Outreach (CLO) Events & Programs

What is the Youth STEM Chronicles (YSC)
YSC is a youth-crafted science magazine dedicated to bringing the latest STEM information and opportunities to students and their families. The magazine includes many interactive sections and stands out as a community platform for all youth of different backgrounds to share their STEM experiences.
YSC Magazine Submissions (CLOSED)
Students ages 10-18 can now submit to our magazine and get published! We will offer free workshops upon submitting as well as volunteer hours!

Collaborative Learning and Outreach
What is CLO
The Collaborative Learning and Outreach (CLO) initiative is one of CYSP’s main projects. CLO Team plans, implements, and hosts both virtual and in-person events and programs under CYSP.
CLO, which is both virtual & in-person hopes to expand the impact of STEM to numerous communities around the world through various youth-led events and programs for each respective region.
How Can I Join?
Volunteers can join this team and participate in the various events and programs under CLO to earn volunteer hours while expanding CYSP’s mission and representing your community!

How can I get involved?
If you are either a high school or college student and want to get involved in our mission, then you’ve come to the right place! CYSP has many teams and volunteer opportunities that would need all the support possible from motivated youth like you! Follow our social media platforms for more updates on ways to get involved.
Do you have monthly subscriptions?
No, all of our initiatives will not require any subscription to access.
Do you receive donations?
Yes! If you are an organization or individual with similar passions of making quality STEM education more accessible, donate to CYSP. An example of where funds would go to is new science equipment for local schools. More details on donation drives and fundraising campaigns coming soon!
